Does HCPRO warranty the products?

Yes — every HCPRO tool ships with a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. We’ll repair or replace the unit if it fails under normal use. See our full warranty terms.

Does this torch include the fuel cylinder?

No. The HC-BZK3 kit ships with the torch body, 3 interchangeable tips, and cylinder grip — the fuel cylinder threads directly onto the torch via the built-in CGA-600 regulator. Use any standard 14 oz / 1 lb MAP-Pro, Propane, or Propylene cylinder. Available at any hardware store for $5–10 each.

Will it ignite without a battery or external striker?

Yes. The auto-trigger uses an internal piezo igniter — kinetic energy from the trigger pull fires the spark. No batteries to replace, no flint striker to lose, no maintenance. Reliable in cold weather and after months of storage.

What’s the difference between the 3 tips?

Pencil flame — focused, precision soldering on 1/4″–3/8″ lines. Dual flame — wider, faster brazing on 3/8″–5/8″ copper. Swirl flame — high-heat concentrated for welding and brazing up to 7/8″ with MAP-Pro. Tool-free swap between tips.

Can I leave the flame on for long brazing runs?

Yes. The continuous run lock holds your flame at the set level — pull the trigger, click the lock, work hands-free until you’re done. Click off to release. Saves your trigger finger on long line sets where you’re running multiple joints.

What’s the largest copper I can braze?

Up to 5/8″ with Propane, up to 7/8″ with MAP-Pro on a single pass. For larger pipes use a double-pass technique with the swirl tip, or step up to an oxy-fuel torch for production-scale work.

What fuels work with this torch?

Propane, MAP-Pro, MAPP gas, and Propylene. MAP-Pro burns at ~3,730 °F vs Propane’s ~3,610 °F — the extra heat lets you braze bigger pipes faster. All four use the same CGA-600 cylinder fitting.

Will using HCPRO products void my OEM warranty?

No. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975, an OEM cannot void your factory warranty for using compatible aftermarket parts. Our products are spec’d to OEM standards. If a dealer pushes back, contact us and we’ll send the documentation.

Can I return it if it doesn’t work for my setup?

Yes — free returns within 30 days for unused tools in original packaging. If you’ve already lit the torch, we can still take it back but a small inspection fee applies. Read our full return policy.
