Blaze HC-BZT5 Torch Kit – 5ft Swivel Hose, 360° Head, 3,600 °F Flame
1,982 °C swirl flame on MAP-Pro · 3,400 °F (1,871 °C) on Propane
Internal piezo igniter — instant start, no flint, no batteries, no striker needed
Set the cylinder down, work freely — reach overhead joints and into tight cabinets
Single-pass on copper line sets up to 7/8" with MAP-Pro — covers residential refrigerant work
The convenience kit for plumbers and DIY pros.
Smaller braze capacity than the BZT1, BZT2, or BZT3 — by design. The BZT5 trades raw capacity for three convenience features the higher-tier Blaze torches don't have. If you're brazing 5/8" residential lines or doing weekend repairs, you get the convenience without paying for capacity you won't use.
Push-button start, no striker needed
Pull the trigger, get fire instantly. The internal piezo igniter fires the spark with no flint, no batteries, no separate striker to dig out of your bag. Reliable in cold weather, after months sitting in the truck, on a job site where you can't find anything. The other Blaze torches need a striker — this one doesn't.
5-ft hose, cylinder stays put
Set the tank on the floor or the truck — bring just the torch head to the joint. Reach overhead lines, tight equipment cabinets, behind condensers without dragging the cylinder around. Stop knocking cylinders over and stop crawling into corners with the tank attached.
Flame lock, hands-free
Click the lock and the flame holds at your set level — both hands free for the joint, no trigger fatigue, no "did I shut it off" worry mid-run. Especially useful on long solder runs where you're moving piece to piece across a copper run. Click off to release.

Numbers a working brazer actually cares about.
No marketing fluff. Every spec is what you'll measure with a real meter on a real job site. Tested against ASME B16.22 brazing joint specifications for copper line sets.
What this torch can actually solder and braze.
Hotter fuels (MAP-Pro) push the max joint size up. Soldering caps are larger because brazing needs more heat to flow the alloy.

Does HCPRO warranty the products?
Yes — every HCPRO tool ships with a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. We'll repair or replace the unit if it fails under normal use. See our full warranty terms.
Does this torch include the fuel cylinder?
No. The HC-BZT5 kit ships with the torch body, 5 ft hose, brass regulator, and manual — the fuel cylinder is sold separately. Use any standard 14.1 oz / 16 oz MAP-Pro, Propane, or MAPP cylinder via the CGA-600 fitting. Available at any hardware store for $5–10 each.
How does the push-button ignition work?
It's a piezo trigger — kinetic energy from the trigger pull creates the spark that lights the flame. No batteries to replace, no flint striker to lose, no maintenance. Works in cold weather and after months of storage. Pair it with the continuous flame lock and you can hold the flame at your set level hands-free.
Why does the flame temp differ between Propane and MAP-Pro?
Different fuel chemistries burn at different temperatures. Propane tops out around 3,400 °F. MAP-Pro (propylene-methyl blend) burns hotter at 3,600 °F. The torch is the same — the fuel determines max flame temp. Use MAP-Pro when you need the higher heat for bigger braze joints.
When should I choose BZT5 vs BZT1 or BZK3?
BZT5 (this kit) — auto-ignition + 5 ft hose, budget-friendly for residential service work. BZT1 (single tip, manual ignition) — larger capacity (up to 1-3/4" MAP-Pro braze), no hose, lower cost. BZK3 (3 interchangeable tips, auto-trigger) — premium kit for techs who need tip versatility.
What's the largest copper I can braze?
Soldering: up to 1" with Propane, up to 1-1/2" with MAP-Pro. Brazing: up to 5/8" with Propane, up to 7/8" with MAP-Pro. For bigger residential joints (1"+) and commercial line sets, step up to the BZT1, BZT2, BZT3, or BZK3.
What fuels work with this torch?
Propane, MAP-Pro, and MAPP. MAP-Pro burns at 3,600 °F vs Propane's 3,400 °F — use MAP-Pro for the bigger braze joints. All three use the same CGA-600 cylinder fitting via the included brass regulator.
Will using HCPRO products void my OEM warranty?
No. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975, an OEM cannot void your factory warranty for using compatible aftermarket parts. Our products are spec'd to OEM standards. If a dealer pushes back, contact us and we'll send the documentation.
Can I return it if it doesn't work for my setup?
Yes — free returns within 30 days for unused tools in original packaging. If you've already lit the torch, we can still take it back but a small inspection fee applies. Read our full return policy.
Do you offer bulk pricing for contractors or shops?
Yes. For orders of 3+ units we offer trade pricing. Email hcproproductsusa@gmail.com with your business details and we'll send a quote within 24 hours.
If you have any questions, you are always welcome to contact us. We'll get back to you as soon as possible, within 24 hours on weekdays.
