Why pros choose it

Engineered for fast brazing, built for the long shift.

Every HCPRO tool is field-tested by working HVAC technicians before it ships from our Miami warehouse.

Two flames, one focused job

The fixed dual-port head fires two parallel flames at the joint instead of one. Heat distributes across a wider area, so larger copper joints come up to brazing temp faster than a single-tip torch can manage. Bigger pipes, same speed.

360° swivel, tight-space ready

Head rotates a full 360° at the neck — get the flame on the joint regardless of how the pipe is oriented. Compressor cabinets, behind condensers, into tight equipment bays. Stop repositioning the cylinder; reposition the head.

Solid brass, built for daily use

All-brass body with stainless steel dual burner tubes means no warping under sustained high-heat use. Brass cools fast between joints. Brass gas adjustment knob gives you precise flame control from pencil to full output. 1.05 lbs, 7.5" long — fits in any service bag.

Technical specifications

Numbers a working brazer actually cares about.

No marketing fluff. Every spec is what you'll measure with a real meter on a real job site. Tested against ASME B16.22 brazing joint specifications for copper line sets.

What this torch can actually solder and braze.

Hotter fuels (MAP-Pro) push the max joint size up. Soldering caps are larger because brazing needs more heat to flow the alloy.

Common questions

Answers from the warehouse floor.

Still stuck? Call our techs at 305-720-0044.

Does HCPRO warranty the products?

Yes — every HCPRO tool ships with a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. We'll repair or replace the unit if it fails under normal use. See our full warranty terms.

Does this torch include the fuel cylinder?

No. The HC-BZT2 threads directly onto any standard 14.1 oz or 16 oz MAP-Pro / Propane cylinder via the built-in CGA-600 fitting. Cylinders are sold separately at any hardware store for $5–10 each.

Does it come with an ignition striker?

No — the BZT1 uses manual ignition. You'll need a flint striker (sold at any hardware store for under $5). Open the gas knob, strike the spark, set the flame level with the brass adjustment knob. Most pros carry one striker per truck.

What's the dual-port flame and why does it matter?

The BZT2 has two flame nozzles firing in parallel instead of one. The heat spreads across a wider area on the joint, which means larger copper joints come up to brazing temp faster than a single-tip torch can manage. Trade-off: it's less focused than the BZT3 triple-jet for very tight precision work.

When should I choose BZT2 vs BZT1 or BZT3?

BZT1 (single tip) — service tech daily driver, smaller residential joints. BZT2 (dual tip, this one) — handles 2" Propane / 3" MAP-Pro braze; sweet spot for residential + light commercial. BZT3 (triple jet) — biggest pipes, commercial line sets, faster heat-up.

What's the largest copper I can braze?

Soldering: up to 3-1/2" with Propane, up to 4" with MAP-Pro. Brazing: up to 2" with Propane, up to 3" with MAP-Pro. Brazing needs more heat than soldering, which is why braze maxes are smaller. For 4"+ braze joints on big commercial line sets, step up to the BZT3 triple-jet.

What fuels work with this torch?

Propane and MAP-Pro. MAP-Pro is a propylene-methyl blend that burns at ~3,730 °F vs Propane's ~3,610 °F — the extra heat lets you braze bigger pipes faster. Both use the same CGA-600 cylinder fitting.

Will using HCPRO products void my OEM warranty?

No. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975, an OEM cannot void your factory warranty for using compatible aftermarket parts. Our products are spec'd to OEM standards. If a dealer pushes back, contact us and we'll send the documentation.

Can I return it if it doesn't work for my setup?

Yes — free returns within 30 days for unused tools in original packaging. If you've already lit the torch, we can still take it back but a small inspection fee applies. Read our full return policy.

Do you offer bulk pricing for contractors or shops?

Yes. For orders of 3+ units we offer trade pricing. Email hcproproductsusa@gmail.com with your business details and we'll send a quote within 24 hours.
