Why this sealant

Stop leaks before they start.

Save compressors before they fail.

USA-manufactured pre-charged refrigerant leak sealant for active repair AND scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems. Universal compatibility with HFC, HFO, A2L, hydrocarbon refrigerants AND all major oil types (POE, PAG, mineral, alkylbenzene). Direct injection via the 45° swivel adapter — no recovery, no disassembly, no $1,500 compressor replacement.

Repair and preventive maintenance

Use it for active leak repair after diagnosing a slow-pressure-drop micro-leak — OR proactively as preventive maintenance during annual service to seal pinhole leaks before they show up as warm air at the vent. Pre-charged refrigerant-soluble formula targets pinhole leaks, porous metal points, and hose-to-fitting joint leaks without disassembling the system. Anti-corrosion additive package prevents the underlying corrosion that caused the leak from spreading.

Universal compatibility

Works with R-134a, R-410A, R-22, R-1234yf, R-404A, R-407C, R-290 (propane), and R-600 (butane). Compatible with POE, mineral, PAG, and alkylbenzene oils — one product covers every system on the truck. Does NOT clog TXVs, orifices, or system components like cheap stop-leak products do. Rated for operation up to 800 PSI.

Direct injection, 45° swivel adapter

Pre-charged 2 oz syringe with included 45° swivel adapter — connects to the low-side service port even in tight spaces. No recovery, no system disassembly, no separate tools. One syringe treats up to a 6-ton system. Restores refrigerant pressure and cooling performance without costly repairs.

Full Product Description

HVAC-R refrigerant leak sealant with 45° swivel low-side adapter — pre-charged 2 oz syringe that seals pinhole leaks, porous metal leaks, and micro-leaks in HVAC, refrigeration, and automotive A/C systems. Universal compatibility with HFC, HFO, A2L, and hydrocarbon refrigerants AND all major oil types (POE, PAG, mineral, alkylbenzene).

HCPRO Performance HCLSK2 is a pre-charged 2 oz refrigerant-soluble sealant with anti-corrosion additive package. Compatible refrigerants: R-134a, R-410A, R-22, R-1234yf, R-404A, R-407C, R-290 propane, R-600 butane. NOT for ammonia systems. Compatible oils: POE, mineral, PAG, alkylbenzene. Rated for operation up to 800 PSI. Treats systems up to 6 tons of refrigeration per syringe. Includes 45° swivel adapter for tight low-side service ports.

Who this sealant is for

HVAC technicians chasing slow refrigerant loss on residential split systems and mini-splits. Mobile auto A/C techs sealing leaks without recovering refrigerant. Refrigeration contractors restoring system pressure on walk-in coolers and reach-ins. Fleet maintenance crews keeping commercial A/C units running. Anyone whose customer's system is losing 1–2 oz per week and they don't want a $1,500 compressor replacement.

When to use it

For micro-leaks, pinhole leaks, and porous metal leaks that drop pressure over weeks or months but aren't visually locatable. Screw the 45° adapter onto the syringe, connect to the low-side service port, inject with the system running. No refrigerant recovery required. One 2 oz syringe treats up to a 6-ton system. NOT for mechanical leaks at loose fittings, fractured copper, or split hoses — replace those components.

Why HCLSK2 vs cheap stop-leak products

Cheap stop-leak uses polymer chemistry that hardens throughout the system and clogs TXVs, orifices, and evaporator coils. HCLSK2's refrigerant-soluble formula only reacts at leak points where it contacts atmosphere — the rest of the system stays clean. Anti-corrosion additive prevents the underlying corrosion that caused the leak from spreading. Rated to 800 PSI for R-410A high-pressure systems. Universal oil and refrigerant compatibility.

Available in single 2 oz syringe, 2-pack, 4-pack, and 12-pack at trade pricing. Manufactured in the USA to industry HVAC-R sealant performance standards.

Common questions

Answers from the warehouse floor.

Still stuck? Call our techs at 305-720-0044.

Does HCPRO warranty the products?

Yes — every HCPRO product ships with a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. We'll replace the syringe if it fails to meet stated specs under normal use. See our full warranty terms.

Can I use this for preventive maintenance, not just repair?

Yes — and it's one of the most cost-effective PM moves on the truck. Inject one syringe during annual or seasonal service to seal pinhole leaks before they drop pressure. Best practice for fleet vehicles, rental property HVAC units, mini-split installations, aging R-22 legacy equipment, and commercial PM contracts. A proactive seal at $20–$30 prevents a $1,500 compressor failure 18 months later.

What kinds of leaks does it seal?

Micro-leaks, pinhole leaks, and porous metal leaks — the slow, hard-to-find type that drops system pressure over weeks or months. It does NOT seal mechanical leaks at fittings that aren't tightened properly, fractured copper lines, or split hoses. For those, replace the component. For everything else, this is the bottle.

Will it clog TXVs, orifices, or my evaporator coil?

No — HCLSK2 is engineered specifically to seal leaks without restricting system flow. Cheap stop-leak products use polymer chemistry that hardens throughout the system and clogs metering devices; HCLSK2's refrigerant-soluble formula only reacts at leak points where it contacts atmosphere. Safe on all metering devices including TXVs, cap tubes, and orifices.

What refrigerants and oils is it compatible with?

Refrigerants: R-134a, R-410A, R-22, R-1234yf, R-404A, R-407C, R-290 (propane), R-600 (butane). NOT for ammonia systems. Oils: POE, mineral, PAG, alkylbenzene — all major HVAC-R compressor lubricants. One bottle covers every system.

How do I inject it?

Screw the included 45° swivel adapter onto the syringe, connect to the system's low-side service port, and inject. The system must be running so the refrigerant can carry the sealant to the leak point. No refrigerant recovery required before injection — direct, pre-charged delivery.

How large a system can one 2 oz syringe handle?

Up to 6 tons of refrigeration per syringe. That covers most residential split systems, mini-splits, automotive A/C units, and light-commercial rooftop units. Larger commercial systems may require multiple syringes — we offer 2-pack, 4-pack, and 12-pack options on this page.

Is it safe for high-pressure R-410A systems?

Yes — rated for operation up to 800 PSI. Modern R-410A and A2L refrigerant systems operate at higher pressures than legacy R-22 (up to ~650 PSI in extreme conditions). HCLSK2 is engineered to remain stable and effective at those pressures.

Will using sealant void my OEM warranty?

It depends on the OEM. Some HVAC manufacturers prohibit sealant injection on warrantied units; others permit professional-grade sealants like HCLSK2 that don't clog system components. Check the equipment warranty terms before injection. For documented compliance, keep the receipt and SDS with the service record.

Can I return an unused syringe?

Yes — free returns within 30 days for unused syringes in original sealed packaging. Used or opened syringes cannot be returned (chemical product). Read our full return policy.

Do you offer multi-packs for shops?

Yes — we offer 2-pack, 4-pack, and 12-pack options at trade pricing on this page. For larger volumes, email hcproproductsusa@gmail.com with your business details and we'll send a custom bulk quote within 24 hours.
