RAV1 1/4" SAE High Pressure Access Valve for R410, R32, R22
Remove and reinstall valve cores under full system pressure or vacuum — no refrigerant loss, no system pressure drop, no re-evacuation
Vacuum-rated to deep micron levels — the internal seal holds vacuum so your pump's pull-down isn't sabotaged by a leaking tool
Brass body with stainless internals — handles R-410A, R-22, R-134a, R-1234YF, R-32 and high-pressure A2L systems
HCPRO-designed to Black Knight specifications and quality-control standards — engineered in Miami, built to spec by our manufacturing partner
No pressure loss.
Vacuum-rated seal.
All refrigerants.
HCPRO Black Knight valve core tools let you remove and reinstall Schrader cores under full pressure or vacuum — no refrigerant loss, no re-evacuation. Vacuum-rated brass-and-stainless build for R-410A, A2L, and Mobile A/C service.
Service cores without losing charge
The whole point of a valve core removal tool: pull and replace Schrader valve cores while the system stays sealed. Thread the tool onto the service port, isolate, remove the core for completely unrestricted flow during evacuation or recovery, then reinstall — all without venting refrigerant or losing system pressure. No more racing a leaking core or re-evacuating because you broke the seal.
Vacuum-rated internal seal
A valve core tool is useless if it leaks under vacuum. This one is vacuum-rated — the internal seal holds deep vacuum so the tool itself never sabotages your pump's pull-down. The side service port lets you connect a micron gauge or charging hose simultaneously, so you read true system vacuum, not tool leakage.
Brass + stainless, all refrigerants
Forged brass body with stainless steel internals handles every common refrigerant — R-410A, R-22, R-134a, R-404A, R-1234YF, R-32, R-454B — at high-pressure service conditions. Ergonomic knurled grip for hand-tight sealing. Built to live in the service bag and take daily use without the seal degrading.

Does HCPRO warranty the products?
Yes — every HCPRO Black Knight product ships with a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects under normal professional use. We'll replace the manifold, gauges, or hoses if they fail to meet stated specs. See our full warranty terms.
Which valve core tool do I need?
Match the service port size: the HCEVCK538 covers 5/16″ × 3/8″ × 1/4″ (the most versatile, handles R-410A mini-split 5/16″ ports). The 1/4″ side-port VCRT is for standard 1/4″ SAE ports. The RAV1 access valve and RAV3 high-pressure valve core are replacement/add-on valves for building service ports. See each product's hero pills for exact sizes.
How does no-pressure-loss core removal work?
Thread the tool onto the service port and tighten the seal. The tool's internal shaft engages the Schrader core and backs it out while the tool body keeps the system sealed — refrigerant can't escape. With the core removed, you get unrestricted flow for fast evacuation or recovery. When done, drive the core back in through the tool and remove the tool. Zero refrigerant lost, no re-evacuation needed.
Why does the vacuum rating matter?
If your valve core tool leaks under vacuum, your micron gauge reads the tool's leak, not the system — and you'll chase a vacuum you can never reach. A vacuum-rated tool holds deep vacuum at its seal, so the reading is true. This is the difference between a pro tool and a hardware-store fitting.
What refrigerants and pressures is it rated for?
Brass-and-stainless construction handles R-410A, R-22, R-134a, R-404A, R-1234YF, R-32, and R-454B. The RAV3 high-pressure valve core is rated to 800 PSI with a Teflon seal for R-410A and A2L high-side service. All models are safe for high-pressure refrigerant work.
What should I pair it with?
For fastest evacuation, pair a VCRT with the Dual Force 3/8″ evacuation hose and a Black Knight vacuum pump. Remove the core, run the 3/8″ high-flow hose, and pull deep vacuum in a fraction of the time. The side service port lets you keep a micron gauge connected throughout.
Can I replace just a worn valve core?
Yes — the RAV1 access valve and RAV3 high-pressure valve core are sold for exactly this. The RAV3 (800 PSI, Teflon seal) is the high-pressure replacement core for R-410A and A2L service ports. Use a VCRT to swap it without recovering the system.
Can I return an unused tool?
