Dual Force 3/8" x 6' SAE HVAC Evacuation & Charging Hose R410A Rated
Rated 800 PSI working / 4,000 PSI burst — safe for R-410A evacuation and charging service at any operating condition
3/8″ SAE high-flow construction — moves more refrigerant and pulls deeper vacuum than 1/4″ hoses. The pro spec for R-410A evacuation and charging on residential and commercial HFC systems.
4,000 PSI burst rating vs 800 PSI working = 5× safety margin — pro safety spec for R-410A high-pressure evacuation and charging
Every Dual Force 3/8″ hose is assembled and tested in Miami to OEM-spec quality control — same hose technology trusted by the full Black Knight ecosystem
3/8″ high-flow.
800 PSI working.
Premium black braided.
The HCPRO Black Knight 3/8″ Dual Force evacuation hose is the high-flow companion to our 1/4″ charging hose lineup — premium black braided construction, 6 ft length, standard 3/8″ SAE connections. Built for R-410A evacuation work where the larger diameter pulls deeper vacuum and moves more refrigerant per minute than 1/4″ hoses.
Dual Force premium braided construction
Every Black Knight evacuation hose is built on the HCPRO Dual Force jacket — premium black braided construction that reads professional on the truck and at the rooftop. The black exterior resists UV degradation and shop-bench abuse. Same hose technology that ships in our 1/4″ Black Knight charging hose lineup, scaled up to 3/8″ diameter for high-flow evacuation work.
800 PSI working / 4,000 PSI burst
Rated 800 PSI working / 4,000 PSI burst — that's a 5× safety margin over working pressure. Safe for R-410A high-pressure HFC service, A2L systems (R-32 / R-454B), and modern Mobile A/C refrigerants (R-1234YF). Same pressure spec as the hoses shipping in our full Black Knight manifold sets.
3/8″ high-flow vacuum + charge
The 3/8″ SAE diameter is the pro spec for evacuation and charging on R-410A residential and commercial systems. Larger cross-section means faster pump-down times (deeper vacuum, faster) and higher charging flow rates compared to 1/4″ hoses. Pair with a 3/8″-port vacuum pump like the HCEC-6S 6 CFM or HCBK12DC 12 CFM for the matched-spec evacuation kit.
Full Product Description
The Dual Force HCQFH38 is a high-flow 3/8" SAE evacuation and charging hose, 6 feet long — moving far more CFM than a 1/4" hose for faster deep-vacuum pull-down.
Key features
- 3/8" high-conductance bore evacuates a system dramatically faster than a 1/4" hose
- 6 ft length with R-410A-rated, high-pressure construction
- SAE fittings pair with a 3/8" vacuum pump port and Quick-Y vacuum tee
- The single most effective upgrade to cut evacuation time
Run a 3/8" hose with a vacuum-rated core tool and reach 500 microns in a fraction of the time.
3/8″ high-flow specs for serious evacuation and charging work.
HCPRO Dual Force 3/8″ premium black braided evacuation hose — 800 PSI working / 4,000 PSI burst, high-flow construction. 6 ft length, 3/8″ SAE connections at both ends. Built for R-410A evacuation and charging where 1/4″ hoses bottleneck the vacuum pump or charging flow. Assembled and tested in Miami, FL.

Does HCPRO warranty the products?
Yes — every HCPRO Black Knight product ships with a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects under normal professional use. We'll replace the manifold, gauges, or hoses if they fail to meet stated specs. See our full warranty terms.
Which Black Knight manifold should I pick?
If you're doing serious R-410A evacuation work, you need this 3/8″ hose paired with a 3/8″-port vacuum pump (HCEC-6S 6 CFM or HCBK12DC 12 CFM). For charging gauge readings (high-side and low-side), use our 1/4″ Black Knight charging hose sets in the appropriate tier (Premium Standard / Anti-Blowback / Ball Valve). The two are complementary in a full evacuation + charging service kit.
Why 3/8″ instead of 1/4″?
The 3/8″ inner diameter moves significantly more air and refrigerant per minute than a 1/4″ hose. For vacuum evacuation, that means faster pump-down times and the ability to pull deeper vacuum (below 500 microns). For refrigerant charging, that means higher charging flow rates. Pro shops use 3/8″ hoses on the evacuation side of the manifold (yellow service port) and 1/4″ hoses for the high/low gauge readings. This hose is the dedicated 3/8″ for the evacuation + charging side.
What does "Class 1.6" gauge accuracy mean?
Class 1.6 is the European Standard for analog pressure gauge accuracy — readings are within ±1.6% of full scale across the operating range. For a 500 PSI gauge, that's ±8 PSI. This is the professional service tier (Class 2.5 is consumer-grade, Class 1.0 is lab-grade). Class 1.6 gives you the precision needed for proper subcool / superheat charging without the cost of lab-grade gauges.
What refrigerants is this 3/8″ hose rated for?
R-410A rated and safe for the full HFC + A2L service range — R-22, R-404A, R-134a, R-32, R-454B, R-407C, R-507 all handled at 800 PSI working / 4,000 PSI burst. Use dedicated hydrocarbon-spec hoses for R-290 / R-600 service (cross-contamination risk on flammable refrigerants).
Will this hose work with my vacuum pump?
If your vacuum pump has a standard 3/8″ SAE inlet port (which is the pro evacuation pump spec — HCEC-6S, HCBK12DC, and most competitor 6+ CFM pumps), yes. Some smaller 1.5–3 CFM pumps have 1/4″ inlets, in which case use a 3/8″-to-1/4″ adapter (sold separately) or pair with our 1/4″ Black Knight charging hose set instead.
When should I replace evacuation hoses?
Signs your 3/8″ evacuation hose needs replacement: (1) visible cracks, kinks, or bulges in the jacket, (2) can't pull below 500 microns even with a known-good vacuum pump, (3) oil seepage at the fittings, (4) hose stiffness loss (jacket degrades, becomes spongy under vacuum), (5) fittings won't hold a positive seal during pressure decay test. Annual replacement is standard practice on high-volume evacuation shops.
Can I return an unused 3/8″ hose?
Yes — free returns within 30 days for unused 3/8″ hoses in original packaging. Once the hose has been pressurized with refrigerant, it's considered used and not eligible for return. Read our full return policy.
Do you offer bulk pricing on 3/8″ evacuation hoses?
